“Attending Dr. Laseter’s meditative exercise classes is an economical way to experience his healing presence. We perform simple movements that address the group’s common health issues that may be related to the season, weather, time of day or other environmental stresses. At the end of class, he addresses individual health challenges. I always leave class feeling as if my body is lighter. The annoying foggy head or cramped stomach or random ache is gone. With my body properly aligned and energy balanced, I move through the rest of my day with ease."

Spring Curriculum Summary
Wood Phase: Welcome to the Spring Class Series!
Spring is the time new life manifests in the world. In the five-element theory of Chinese philosophy we are entering the wood phase. In terms of time and space it is associated with the spring season and the eastern direction.
Within our body spring means we are contending with rising liver energy, a distinct change from winter where nurturing our kidneys demanded our attention. The upward and branching force of the Wood Element to which liver belongs, is manifesting. Think of a tree, or even a blade of grass. Resilience, heat, growth, renewal.

meditative exercise classes
Meditative Exercise offers group classes and private lessons.
Group classes are held every Saturday, alternating between in-person classes and online classes via Zoom. Classes follow the Chinese Solar Calendar seasons. While classes are stand alone, they are designed as a seasonal series so students sustain the benefits of Meditative Exercise lessons.
Dr Laseter is now offering private, in-person lessons. Private instruction is great for students interested in deepening their understanding and quality of their meditation practices. It is also a way for those interested in teaching Meditative Exercise to progress faster.

GUIDED MEDITATIVE EXERCISE

Guided Meditative Exercise uses the sensitivity and awareness developed through training in Chinese meditative traditions.
